2014 Ch. Bourgneuf, Pomerol 2017 Classic Barbera D'Asti from PiedmontChteau Bourgneuf is a vineyard of 8. 8 ha, and has been owned by the Vayron family since 1840. With a perfect location on the prestigious plateau close to the old church, the grapes achieve a perfect ripening. The fields are planted with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. The average age of the vines is 40 years, and a single parcel is over 70 years old. Approx. 35% of the wine is aged in new oak for 12 14 months. The harvest always takes place
