The wine matures faster than other Grand Crus and is silky smooth and elegant in its youth, gaining more body with a few years in the cellar. The wine often has notes of herbs and violet. The parcels have a planting density of 11,000 vines per hectare. The wine is matured for 18 months in oak barrels from the forests of Allier and Nievre.
