2022, Mayet Magnum Chianti This what is called aGrapes purchased from organically cultivated vines in the Cteaux du Vendmois, Loire Valley. The Gamay and Pineau dAunis are harvested manually and vinified separately with a spontaneous fermentation. There is a 7 day maceration of the Pineau dAunis, with 50% of destemmed grapes and 50% whole bunches. The Gamay undergoes an 18 day semi carbonic maceration. After blending, the wine ages in stainless steel before bottling. No fining, no filtration. Notes
