Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Au Closeau 2020 Perfect balance and sweet tanninsThe domaine owns 80% of the microscopic 1st Cru 'Au Closeau'. The plot faces east at an altitude of 280 meters in the southern part of Gevrey Chambertin, directly opposite the Grand Cru field Mazis Chambertin. The grapes from the low yielding vines, all of which were originally planted in 1943, are hand picked and the must is aged for 18 months in 40% new oak barrels from Allier and Nivernais with medium roasting to give the wine a restrained and
