This property, named after the local church, was acquired by Roberto Bellini in 1972 and came under the ownership of Angelo Gaja in 1994. Under Gaja's leadership, the vineyards have been expanded to 25 hectares, where Sangiovese grapes are grown for the production of the Brunello wines Sugarille, Rennina and Brunello di Montalcino.
