Doch ihre Stimme war zu leise, und sie wurde eben Souffleuse. Eines Tages wird ihr Theater geschlossen. Auf der verlassenen Bhne lernt sie einen Schatten kennen. Er gehrt zu niemandem und so nimmt Ophelia ihn auf. Schon bald gesellen sich immer mehr herrenlose Schatten sich zu ihr und Ophelia erffnet ein eigenes Schattentheater.
