Connoisseurs appreciate the smooth single malts produced by the distillery, which is one of the few in Scotland to still operate its own malt floors. Balvenie also produces smoky whisky rather untypically for the Scottish Speyside. The 18 year old Balvenie French Pineau Cask is the older brother of the Bourbon Barrel bottling from the
