Futabasaurus suzukii Variant:Primed The AustralovenatorFutabasaurus suzukii was a long necked plesiosaur that inhabited the seas of the Late Cretaceous, approximately 89 million years ago, in what is now Japan. It was discovered in 2006 in the Futaba Formation, from which it takes its name, and is considered one of the first plesiosaurs described in the country. Its discovery has been crucial to understanding the marine fauna of the region during the Mesozoic. This marine reptile belonged to the
