There is excellent richness to the bigger and more powerful medium weight plus flavors that are at once concentrated and quite serious while flashing a touch of rusticity on the slightly warm mineral-inflected finish

This will be approachable young but I would advise holding it for 5 to 8 years

the tannins are remarkably soft and polished for such a young Diamond Creek wine

Vietti, Barolo Castiglione Vintage:2007 There is fine density toPalish ruby with orange rim. Cherry on the nose with just the beginning of mulch but overall still fresh. Juicy fruit palate with proper tannic grip on the finish. Not hugely complex but a joy to drink. (WS)
