It's downright embryonic at this stage
A hint of herbal tea character sits atop the aromas of spicy dark berries and sandalwood
this striking 1998 should drink well for 20-25 years
Very ripe liqueur-like aromas of various black berries are nuanced by plenty of spice and floral elements
Penetrating mineral and lemon notes complement green apple and jasmine on the nose
Denis Bachelet, Cote De Nuits Villages Rouge other_regions_italy It's downright embryonic at this(60% from Queue de Hareng with the remainder from Crole and La Mouille, all in Brochon). An ultra fresh and more elegant nose features notes of ripe red and dark currant, softer earth and an equally subtle whiff of oak toast. There is excellent punch to the utterly delicious medium weight flavors that exude a refreshing salinity on the balanced and complex finale. Lovely stuff.
