Famille Peillot Mondeuse de Bugey, 2015 Rondinella think: pizzaBugey, a tiny region at the foothills of the Jura Mountains, produces world class wine that France tends to keep for themselves to drink in lieu of exporting. Native to the region is the Mondeuse grape known for being juicy with a punchy bite. Dense yet light with obvious dark fruit, it is balanced with a sense of adventure on the nose (he barely intervenes and lets the wine take its own shape during fermentation).
