Kinvarra Estate 2014 Pinot Noir verdejo Hughes & Hughes is theirKinvarra Estate was established at Plenty in the Upper Derwent Valley (about 40 minutes from Hobart) in 1827 by Englishman George Frederick Read. There is a very fine Georgian homestead on the site. In 1990 a 1 hectare 'Home Block', divided between Riesling and Pinot Noir, was planted by then owners David and Sue Bevan. The first vintage Kinvarra Pinot was 1994. A further 8. 7ha was planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 2009 for sparkling wine
