A lightly spicy but notably earthy nose of a ripe and very fresh array of mixed red berries gives way to rich and utterly delicious flavors that possess excellent volume before terminating in a seductively textured finish that is shaped by dense but fine tannins

An exceptionally pretty nose displays scents of red raspberry, anise, clove and sandalwood. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension and detail to the overtly mineral inflected, supple and appealingly textured medium bodied flavors that terminate in an austere, serious and precise finish. This is a very serious example of the appellation that is a bit less refined than one might normally
