Labeled as "UNDOCUMENTED" and side noted, "#2". The stone was first recognized as a meteorite by KSU geologist Doug Brookins at the university in Manhattan, Kansas. The meteorite was "discovered" on the desk of a university secretary where it was being used as a paper weight. A fitting job for any meteorite. The original find date is unknown. Elbert King acquired the aerolite from Brookins
