Caroline Morey, Chassagne Montrachet Champs Gains Vintage:2017 with honeyed impingement both aromatically(from vines planted in 2009). An airy and pretty if not especially dense nose combines notes of white orchard fruit, especially pear, with those of citrus, wood and resin. The delicious and round flavors also display good punch that contrast somewhat with the youthfully austere and reasonably long finish.
