Description

herbal and very fine spicy notes

At least some forbearance required

This wine is a work in progress – but everything suggests that it will be a majestic Magis

It produced interesting wines specifically in Barbaresco and almost nowhere else in Northern Italy

There is good energy and better detail to the round and delicious flavors that possess more volume while terminating in an equally sappy finish that offers good if not genuinely special complexity but lovely persistence

Jean-Marc Blain-Gagnard, Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot Blanc other_regions herbal and very fine spicy(from Les Boirettes and Champ Jendreau). Pretty, and distinctly floral suffused aromas include those of citrus rind and white fleshed fruit. The very rich and generously proportioned middle weight flavors possess plenty of sappy dry extract before terminating in a powerful and borderline tannic bitter lemon inflected finish. This would also benefit from at least a few years of keeping.
